In the age of Adolescence, brushing before bed is a simpler habit, however, preserving and maintaining a healthy smile can be more of a challenge.
Note To Parent/Instructor:
The Adolescence curriculum is divided into three lesson plans which are loosely scripted with discussion questions, explanations and activities that you can easily adapt to your own style of teaching. The curriculum can be incorporated into your current lesson plans or used as a stand alone program to supplement your existing health curriculum.
– How to properly care for your teeth and learning the different parts of your teeth.
– Understanding the creation of a cavity, a guide to flossing, and the “tooth” of the matter about icky sticky foods.
– As an early teen, you’ll encounter braces, peer pressure for poor oral health habits, and oral health injuries – we’ll teach you how to combat each successfully.
